What is Transcript retention window?
The transcript retention window is the agreed period for which a conversation's transcript and derived scores are kept after the audio has been deleted, set by the retailer as Data Fiduciary and enforced automatically.
Audio is the liability; it is deleted once transcribed, with the deletion timestamped. Transcripts are kept for the window, and short-lived signals such as intent scores expire on their own. This is what turns "we record customers" into a posture a legal team can sign.
