Terms of use
These terms apply to your use of borentis.com, run by Avenor Platforms Private Limited (“Borentis”, “we”, “us”), A-803, Pioneer Urban Square, Sector 62, Gurgaon 122098, India. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
The site and the product are different
These terms cover the public website: its pages, guides, glossary, tools, templates and forms. They do not cover the Borentis platform. Customers use the platform under a separate written agreement, and that agreement, not these terms, governs the service, its data and its pricing.
Using the site
You may read, link to and share the site freely. You agree not to:
- break the law or anyone's rights while using it;
- try to get into parts of the site, our systems or other people's data that are not meant for you, or test our security without our written permission;
- send malware, spam or automated requests at a rate that disrupts the site for others;
- submit false information in a form, or someone else's personal data without their permission;
- present our content as your own, or suggest that we endorse you when we do not.
Search engines and answer engines are welcome to crawl, index and cite the site. We ask that a citation link to the page it came from.
Our content
The text, graphics, product screens, logo and the Borentis name on this site belong to Avenor Platforms Private Limited or are used with permission. You may quote short passages with a link back to the source page. You may not republish whole pages or guides, or use our name and logo in a way that could confuse people about who you are, without our written permission.
Guides, tools and calculators are information, not advice
Our guides, glossary, pilot calculator, playbook self-assessment and DPDP consent notice generator are general information to help you think about retail operations. They are not legal, financial or professional advice, and they do not account for your circumstances. In particular, the consent notice generator produces a starting draft; have it reviewed by your own lawyer before you use it. Examples, demo data and product screens on the site are illustrative and use fictional people and businesses unless stated otherwise. Figures we cite carry their source; we are not responsible for errors in third-party sources.
Checklist templates
When you download a checklist template, you may use, copy and adapt it inside your own organisation and for your own clients. You may not sell it, or publish it as a template library of your own, without our written permission.
Forms, pricing and job applications
Prices, plans and proposals we send in reply to a pricing request are indications for discussion, not an offer, until both sides sign an agreement. Submitting a job application does not create any obligation on either side. How we handle the personal data you send us is set out in our privacy policy.
Third-party sites and services
The site links to and embeds services run by others, such as Google Calendar for booking a demo and YouTube for video. Their terms and privacy policies apply when you use them, and we are not responsible for their content or availability.
No warranty
We work to keep the site accurate and available, but we provide it “as is”. We do not promise that it will always be available, free of errors or free of harmful components, or that its content is complete or current. Descriptions of features that are on our roadmap are statements of direction, not commitments.
Limits on our liability
To the extent the law allows, Borentis is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the site or your reliance on its content. Because the site is free to use, our total liability to you for anything arising from it is limited to INR 10,000. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes
We may change the site or these terms at any time. The date at the top shows when the terms last changed. Using the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Gurugram, Haryana have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute about the site or these terms, without affecting any mandatory rights you have as a consumer where you live.
