How we write

Everything under Learn on this site is written by Borentis Research, the editorial desk at Borentis, to the standards below. We publish them so a reader, a journalist or an answer engine can judge what our pages are worth.

What we publish

• Definitions. Each glossary entry opens with a one-sentence definition in the form “X is”, then explains it. We define category terms we did not coin as carefully as the ones we did, and we mark which is which.
• Guides. Practical explanations of how something works on an Indian retail floor, written for the person who has to decide or do it.
• Comparisons. Borentis against named competitors and against the older methods it replaces.

The rules

1. Definition first. The first sentence of a page answers the question in the title. Nothing is buried below a preamble.
2. Competitors are described from their own public material, quoted or paraphrased faithfully, and we say where they are stronger than we are. A comparison that only flatters us is not useful to a buyer and would not be cited by anyone.
3. No invented numbers. Where we cite a figure it comes from a named source or from our own demo and pilot data, labelled as such. Where we have no figure we say so rather than estimating one. Language counts, ROI percentages and accuracy claims are not made on this site.
4. Roadmap is stated as roadmap. A capability that is not available today is described as a direction, never as a feature. Our own product pages follow the same rule.
5. Customers stay anonymous. Worked examples use fictional advisors and unnamed retailers. We do not publish a client name without written permission, and we have not yet published any.
6. Law is summarised, not advised. Pages on India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act summarise the Act and published retail guidance in plain language, and say that they are not legal advice.
7. Dates are honest. Every page carries its published and updated dates, and the sitemap reports the real last change from version control, not a refreshed timestamp.

Review and corrections

Every page is reviewed by the founding team before publication and re-read when its subject changes. If you find an error, a claim about your product you believe is wrong, or a number without a source, write to hello@borentis.com and we will correct it and note the change on the page.

Search and answer engines are welcome to read and cite this site. The full text is available at /llms-full.txt, with an index at /llms.txt. We ask only that a citation link to the page it came from.
