Walk-out Recovery
Turn the customer who left without buying into a follow-up they answer, and prove the recovered sale.
Most customers who walk out are not lost. They are undecided, waiting for a salary date, or comparing. The store never finds out which, because it never took a number, or took one and called three days later with nothing to say. Walk-out recovery makes every non-buying conversation a lead that already contains the need, the budget, the objection and the date, and gives the advisor a follow-up worth sending.

The problem today
- The number is asked for in a minority of non-buying conversations.
- The follow-up, when it happens, is 'any update, sir?' because nothing from the conversation was kept.
- Timing follows the store's quiet hours, not the customer's timeline.
- A recovered sale is booked as a new walk-in, so the follow-up never gets credit and nobody invests in it.
What changes with Borentis
- Every non-buyer who gave a number becomes a lead with the variant, the price discussed, the objection and the date they mentioned.
- A follow-up brief written from the conversation, ready for the advisor to send at the right moment.
- Managers see which leads were followed up within the window and which were not.
- The recovered sale traced to the visit and the follow-up that earned it.
On the floor
An advisor takes a number from a customer who leaves over a delivery date. Two days later the message names the model, the colour, the price agreed and a confirmed delivery date. The customer books the next morning. The sale is attributed to the original visit, and that advisor's recovery rate becomes the store's benchmark.

Where Borentis applies this
- Walk-in Recovery: The customer who left is still yours.
- Objection Intelligence: The reason they did not buy, in their own words.
- Execution Scorecards: See the floor before the P&L does.
Frequently asked questions
Who sends the follow-up?
The advisor the customer met, from a brief prepared for them. Messages go out with a person's approval, never automatically. Central teams can run volume where the client prefers.
Is messaging a customer after a visit legal in India?
Yes, when the customer gave their number for that purpose and the message is about their enquiry. Consent under the DPDP Act should cover the follow-up explicitly, and withdrawal should be one reply away.
What recovery rate should we expect?
It depends on category and ticket size. The number that matters is measured against the visit: recovered sales as a share of non-buying conversations that ended with a number. The calculator on this site sizes it from your own footfall.
