Uniform and Personal Hygiene SOP Checklist

A weekly SOP check of uniform stock, staff facilities and hygiene records.

A uniform and personal hygiene SOP checklist is a weekly check that the systems behind daily grooming are working: enough uniform sets per person, a clean locker and changing area, stocked handwash points, current medical fitness records for food handlers and follow-up on the week's grooming misses. The Store Manager fills it once a week, usually on the quietest morning, and the HR Executive reviews it so that uniform shortages and repeat misses reach the people who can fix them. Where the daily grooming checklist looks at people, this one looks at supplies, records and facilities. A failed item raises a ticket with an owner and a deadline, such as a uniform indent to HR or a refill of handwash stock.

The same template, with proof.

Loaded into BorentisOps, each required photo is live, GPS and time-stamped, so a photo from yesterday or another store does not pass. Where the brand has a docket or display standard, Drishti scores the photo against it and marks the misses. Every fail raises a ticket with an owner and a deadline, and the hr executive sees the store on a heat map before the next visit.

The checklist runs offline and syncs when signal returns, in Hindi, English and Hinglish, and the operations score sits next to the store's selling score from Borentis Floor on one store card. Pricing is per store, so every store manager and staff member in the store is on the app.

FAQs

About this template.

What is the difference between this SOP checklist and the daily grooming checklist?

The daily grooming checklist looks at each person on the floor before opening. This weekly SOP checklist looks at what makes daily grooming possible: uniform stock, the issue register, laundry, lockers, washrooms, handwash supplies and food handler records. If the daily check keeps failing on the same item, this weekly check usually shows why, such as too few uniform sets or an empty soap dispenser.

Why is the medical fitness certificate a fatal item?

For cafes and QSR outlets, food handlers are expected to be medically fit and the store is expected to keep proof on file. A missing certificate is both a licence risk and a food safety risk, so the item is fatal and raises an immediate ticket to HR. Stores with no food handlers, such as a showroom or a jewellery store, mark the item N/A, and it does not affect their score.

Who should review this checklist?

The HR Executive, because most fixes sit with HR: uniform indents, new sets for joiners, fitness certificate drives and training for repeat misses. The Store Manager fills it and owns the facility items. When the HR Executive reviews the week's results across stores, uniform shortages show up as a pattern rather than as scattered complaints.

Can I import this template into BorentisOps?

Yes. The Excel download keeps the same columns BorentisOps uses: section, item, question, answer type, photo rule, weight, fatal flag and the note on what good looks like. It imports as a checklist, and a Borentis onboarding person maps the filled-by and reviewed-by roles to your people and assigns it to your stores. The number and text items import as they are, so the weekly score and open ticket notes carry across.
